Barley Grass (Hordeum vulgare), grown skilfully, has a brilliant rich green hue. The bright green colour of the powder indicates a high chlorophyll content and that it is intact ('greens' powders that have a grey or brownish hue indicate chlorophyll has been degraded and may not be efficacious).
